The Department of Archaeology at BU is the only distinct, fully constituted university department of archaeology in the United States. In the field, laboratory, and classroom, students pursue BA, MA, and PhD programs with concentrations in Old and New World Prehistoric and Historical Archaeology, including Classical, Mesoamerican, Geoarchaeology, and Heritage Management specializations.
