The health and well-being of populations around the world rely on well-trained public health practitioners and scholars who can meet today’s increasingly complex challenges. Boston University School of Public Health (BUSPH) prepares students with a comprehensive curriculum that incorporates specialized study and practical field experience. Eight academic departments offer educational and research training in biostatistics, environmental health, epidemiology; health law, bioethics and human rights; health policy and management, international health, and maternal and child health, as well as social and behavioral sciences. Flexible full- and part-time programs of study allow students to work while pursuing their master’s, doctor of public health, specialized academic master’s, or doctor of science degrees. In addition to certificate programs, BUSPH provides dual degree options in cooperation with other graduate schools within Boston University.
