Item Duwaaraŋ Kummaayariŋo: Special PrayersContains a collection of several Arabic-Mandinka Ajami bilingual documents written in different types of paper and by different hands. The documents include Mandinka Ajami commentaries on Arabic phrases dealing with some Islamic rituals and special prayers using Arabic phrases, numerals, names of God and Prophet Muḥammad, figures, and Mandinka incantation language.Item Kandoolu Kitaaboolu I: Collection of Bilingual Texts IContains a collection of six small documents written in Arabic and Mandinka Ajami. Included is a biography of Prophet Muḥammad and devotional poems that trace and celebrate his origin and achievements. The other documents, which are mostly written in Mandinka Ajami, deal with a variety of topics.
