Abdou Khadre Cisse Community Images

A series of photographs taken in and around the home of the manuscript owner, Abdou Khadre Cisse, in the neighborhood of Kandialang in Ziguinchor, Senegal. These photographs were taken on January 8-9, 2018 to document and provide context about the Mandinka Ajami manuscripts in their family library.

This is a joint project between Boston University and the West African Research Center (WARC), funded by the British Library/Arcadia Endangered Archives Programme.
