Carbon Free Boston Project
Permanent URI for this community
The City of Boston has pledged to be carbon neutral by 2050. Researchers at the Institute for Sustainable Energy and the Department of Earth & Environment assessed potential technologies and policies that reduce greenhouse gas emissions across the energy, buildings, transportation, and waste sectors in the City. Social equity is a key cross-cutting theme. This work was a collaborative effort with the City of Boston and the Boston Green Ribbon Commission, resulting in a series of reports released in 2019.
