This is the concert program of the A Tribute to Gardner Read Celebrating his 85th Year performance on Friday, September 25, 1998 at 8:00 p.m., at The Tsai Performance Center, 685 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston, Massachusetts. Works performed were From a Lute of Jade, Op. 36, Songs for a Rainy Night, Op. 48, Fantasy - Toccata for Solo Harpsichord, Three Songs for Mezzo-Soprano, Op. 68, Jungle Gardens by Moonlight, Op. 54, No. 2, Spider Monkeys, Op. 54, No. 3, and Nocturnal Visions, Op. 145 by Gardner Read. Digitization for Boston University Concert Programs was supported by the Boston University Humanities Library Endowed Fund.
