The purposes of this study were to (1) investigate the organization of team teaching; (2) to utilize team planning in music; (3) to explore the possibilities of adapting large group instruction in music; (4) to formulate a rationale and model for this technique; (5) to apply the model for music instruction and (6) to report on the utilization of small group and independent study patterns in music within team teaching.
