The purpose of this study is to examine relationships between teachers' perceptions of selected dimensions of school system "health" and the types of innovations adopted by those teachers. The study is conducted within the conceptual framework of organizational "health." Discrete properties are related to the innovativeness or adaptability of a school system. The six organizational ''health" measures used as independent variables in this study are: 1. support for the norm of openness 2. problem-solving adequacy 3. problem-solving climate 4. communications adequacy 5. perceived conformity index 6. actual conformity index.
