    Abstract
This Boston University Libraries presentation discussed the different types of bibliometrics for authors. We discussed some of the issues and controversies around the various impact scores and then looked at some of the more popular tools for calculating them. Participants had an overview of Google Scholar, Publish or Perish, and Web of Science. The workshop featured a detailed look at the h-index.
