Lepton collider experiments can search for light technipions in final states made striking by the presence of an energetic photon: e+e − → γΠT. To date, searches have focused on either production through anomalous coupling of the technipions to electroweak gauge bosons or on production through a technivector meson (ρT, ωT) resonance. This paper creates a combined framework in which both contributions are included. This will allow stronger and more accurate limits on technipion production to be set using existing data from LEP or future data from a higher-energy linear collider. We provide explicit formulas and sample calculations (analytic and Pythia) in the framework of the Technicolor Straw Man Model, a model that includes light technihadrons.

Transverse spin diffusion in a dilute spin-polarized degenerate Fermi gas
Golosov, D. I.; Ruckenstein, A. E. (SPRINGER/PLENUM PUBLISHERS, 1998-08-01)We re-examine the calculation of the transverse spin-diffusion coefficient in a dilute degenerate spin-polarized Fermi gas, for the case of s-wave scattering. The special feature of this limit is that the dependence of the ... -
Color-singlet technipions at the Tevatron
Lane, Kenneth D. (ELSEVIER SCIENCE BV, 1995-09-14)I discuss production and detection at the Tevatron collider of pairs of light (MπT = 100–200GeV) color-singlet technipions that are expected in all nonminimal models of technicolor. Gluon fusion production rates can be as ... -
Natural topcolor-assisted technicolor
Lane, Kenneth; Eichten, Estia (Elsevier Science BV, 1995-06-15)We construct a prototype of topcolor-assisted technicolor in which, although both top and bottom quarks acquire some mass from extended technicolor, strong U(1) couplings of technifermions are isospin symmetric and all ...
