Abstract
The goal of this conference is to bring together global teacher-scholars and business leaders who are interested in sharing innovative pedagogy and furthering greater cross-border research collaboration that focuses on emerging and developing countries. The conference organizers welcome individuals from different academic disciplines (business, liberal arts, engineering, etc.) and from different types of academic institutions (colleges, universities, business schools) as well as business leaders from both the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors (including government organizations and NGOs). The following themes have been identified around this truly integrative conference. These are: Business Challenges in Emerging and Developing Countries Sustainability Gender Issues in Business Business Innovation in Emerging Countries Business in a Virtual Environment Entrepreneurship Collaborative Teaching Models The conference is designed to facilitate as much interaction among the attendees as possible by encouraging participants to engage in substantive exchanges through interactive workshops and sessions.
