Description
This is the concert program of the Faculty Recital: Thomas Stumpf, piano on Tuesday, February 28, 1989 at 8:00 p.m., at the Tsai Performance Center, 685 Commonwealth Avenue. Works performed were 3. "The Alcotts" from Piano Sonata No. 2, "Concord, Mass., 1840-1860" by Charles Ives, Fantasia on an Ostinato by John Corigliano, Eroica by William Moylan, III. Elegiaco from ausgeweidet die zeit...drei nachtstück by Peter Ruzicka, 11. Litany of the Galactic Bells - Leo from Makrokosmos, Vol II, for amplified piano by George Crumb, and Fantasie in C major, Op. 17 by Robert Schumann.
