Description
This is the concert program of the Boston University New Music Ensemble performance on Tuesday, October 27, 1992 at 8:00 p.m., at the Concert Hall, 855 Commonwealth Avenue. Works performed were Chamber Symphony No. 1, Op. 43, "Le Printemps" by Darius Milhaud, Chamber Symphony No. 2, Op. 49, "Pastorale" by D. Milhaud, Chamber Symphony No. 3, Op. 71, "Serenade" by D. Milhaud, Le merle noir by Olivier Messiaen, Nightwatch by Thomas Stumpf, Kolobok: Tale of the Artist for Brass, Piano Four-Hands, Percussion and Story-Teller by Jakov Jakoulov, and the following Folk Songs by Luciano Berio: Black Is the Colour..., I Wonder as I Wander..., Loosin Yelav..., Rossignolet de bois, A la femminisca, La donna ideale, Ballo, Motettu de Tristura, Malurous qu'o uno fenno, and Azerbaijan Love Song.
