Description
This is the concert program of the Boston University Brass Ensembles performance on Thursday, February 24, 2000 at 8:00 p.m., at the Tsai Performance Center, 685 Commonwealth Avenue. Works performed were Tusch and Marcia Vivace by Carl Maria von Weber, Conzon Cornetto by Samuel Scheidt, Prelude and Fugue by Rayner Brown, Providebam dominum by Orlando de Lassus, Canzon Septimi Toni a 8 by Giovanni, Gabrieli, Fanfare by Andrew C. Fox, Ave Maria (Angelus Domini) by Franz Biebl, Passacaglia in C minor (arr. Hunsberger) by Johann Sebastian Bach, Festival Fanfare by Joesph Turrin, Shenandoah arranged by James Olcott, Ye Banks and Braes O' Bonnie Doon (arr. Barry Ford) by Percy Grainger, Soundings by James Sclater, Reflections and Rattledance by John Cheetham, Flourish by Richard Arnell, and Jericho by Joshua Missal.
