Description
This is the concert program of the Concert of String Department Students on Thursday, January 28, 1988 at 8:00 p.m., at the Concert Hall, 855 Commonwealth Avenue. Works performed were Poem for Violin and Piano by Ernest Chausson, Allegro sostenuto from Concerto for Viola by Béla Bartók, Andante and Allegro vivacissimo from Concerto for Violin in D by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Allegro non troppo from Concerto for Violin No.2 by B. Bartók, Allegro maestoso ma appassionato from Sonata for Unaccompanied Cello, Op. 8 by Zoltán Kodály, and Nocturne and Tarantella for Violin and Piano by Karol Szymanowski.
