Description
This is the concert program of the Boston University Cello Ensemble performance on Wednesday, March 15, 1989 at 8:00 p.m., at the Tsai Performance Center, 685 Commonwealth Avenue. Works performed were Concerto Grosso in D minor Op. 3, NO. 11 by Antonio Vivaldi (arranged by L. Varga), Duos for Cello and Double Bass by Béla Bartók, La Poesia by Saverio Mercadante, Quartet in D minor by Rudolf Matz, Hymnus für zwölf Violoncelli, Op. 57 by Julius Klengel, Walzer-Collage by Werner Thomas-Mifune, and William Celloverture by Gioachino Rossini (arranged by Arnold Friedman).
