Description
This is the concert program of the An Evening of Song performance on Tuesday, November 7, 1995 at 6:00 p.m., at the Boston University Concert Hall, 855 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston, Massachusetts. Works performed were Vado, ma dove?, K. 583 and Voi averte un cor fedele, K. 217 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart; "Nichts" from Acht Lieder aus Letzte Blätter, Op. 10, No. 2, "Ich trage meine Minne" from Fünf Lieder, Op. 32, No. 1, "Traum durch die Dämmerung" from Drei Lieder, Op. 29, No. 1, and "Zueignung" from Acht Lieder aus Letzte Blätter, Op. 10, No. 1" by Richard Strauss; Simple Gifts by Aaron Copland; "The Crucifixtion" from The Hermit Songs, Op. 29, No. 5 by Samuel Barber; In the mornin' by Charles Ives; Mai, Op. 1, No. 1 by Gabriel Fauré; Selve Amiche by Antonio Caldara; and Già il sole dal Gange by Allessandro Scarlatti.
