Description
This is the concert program of the String Department Recital on >Wednesday, February 8, 1989 at 8:30 p.m., at the Concert Hall, 855 Commonwealth Avenue. Works performed were Cello Suite No. 3 by Johann Sebastian Bach, Sonata No, 9 in A major, Op. 47 "Kreutzer" by Ludwig van Beethoven, Finale-Rondo from Concerto for Viola and Piano in D major by Johann Stamitz, Violin Concerto No.5, Op. 37 by Henri Vieuxtemps, II. Adagio di Molto from Violin concerto in D minor, Op. 47 by Jean Sibelius, Prelude and courante from Suite in D minor by J. S. Bach, and Scottish Fantasy, for violin and piano, Op. 40 by Max Bruch.
