Description
This is the concert program of the Anne and Aaron Richmond Competition for Pianists on Thursday, April 2, 1998 at 7:00 p.m., at the Tsai Performance Center, 685 Commonwealth Avenue. S. Bach, Sonata No. 31 in A-flat major, Hob. XVI/46 Joseph Haydn, Phantasiestücke by Robert Schumann, Sonata in B-flat minor, Op. 35 by Ludwig van Beethoven, Sonata in B-flat minor, Op. 35 by Fryderyk Chopin, Le tombeau de courperin by Maurice Ravel, Goldberg Variations, BWV 988 by J. S. Bach, Ballade in G minor, Op. 23 F. Chopin, Sonata in D minor, Op. 31 No. 2 by L. v. Beethoven, Fantasy in B minor, Op. 28 by Alexander Skryabin, and Book One from "12 New Etudes" by William Bolcom.
