Description
This is the concert program of the Chamber Music: Students of the Department of Historical Performance performance on Monday, November 16, 1992 at 8:00 p.m., at the Concert Hall, 855 Commonwealth Avenue. Works performed were Trio Sonata in F major by Jean Baptiste Loeillet, "Loves Arms Himself" from "Orpheus Brittanicus" by Henry Purcell, "Sweeter than Roses" from "Pausanias" by H. Purcell, "O Solitude" from "Orpheus Brittanicus" by H. Purcell, "Tis Nature's Voice" from "Ode to St. Cecilia" by H. Purcell, "I'll Sail upon the Dog-Star" from "The Fool's Preferment" by H. Purcell, Quartet No. 6 in E minor ("Paris") by Georg Phillip Telemann, Trio Sonata in F major by Carl Heinrich Graun, Sonata No. 3 in B-flat major for Clarinet and Piano by Johann Baptist Wanhal, and Trio in E-flat major for Clarinet, Viola and Fortepiano, K. 498 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
