Description
This is the concert program of the Faculty Concert of the Atlantic Brass Quintet "Old and New" performance on Monday, November 9 1998 at 8:00 p.m., at the Tsai Performance Center, 685 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston, Massachusetts. Works performed were Passameze by Michael Praetorius; Ne irascaris Domine and The Earle of Oxfords Marche by William Byrd; Moro, lasso, al mio duolo, Dolcissima mia vita, and I teneo miei sospiri by Don Carlo Gesualdo; Laudes by Jan Bach; Fanfare from Homenajes by Manuel de Falla; Fanfare for a New Theater by Igor Stravinsky; Fanfare for All by Milton Babbit; Prelufe and Fuge in D. minor, BWV 539 (Fiddle Fugue) by Johann Sebastian Bach; and Quintet for Brass Instruments in Four Movements by Alvin Etler.
