This is the concert program of the Song Literature I, Renaissance and Baroque Music performance on Wednesday, December 7, 1994 at 6:00 p.m., at the Boston University Concert Hall, 855 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston, Massachusetts. Works performed were Nell dolce dell'oblio by George Frideric Handel, Gia il sole dal Gange by Alessandro Scarlatti, Since from my dear by Henry Purcell, "Arise, ye subterrenean winds," from The Tempest by Henry Purcell, "O Sleep, why dost thou leave me," from Semele by George Frideric Handel, Flow, my tears by John Dowland, Come again, sweet love doth now invite by John Dowland, In darkness let me dwell by John Dowland, Dalla guerra amorosa by George Frideric Handel, "When I am laid in earth," from Dido and Aeneas by Henry Purcell, Ergiti Amor by Alessandro Scarlatti, What can we poor females do? by Henry Purcell, Sweeter than roses by Henry Purcell, "O had I Jubal's lyre," from Joshua by George Frideric Handel, Ridente la calma by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, The Wanderer by Franz Joseph Haydn, The Timely Admonition by Thomas Arne, and "Let the bright Seraphim," from Samson by George Frideric Handel.
