Description
This is the concert program of The First Annual Shostakovich Festival performance on Monday, October 31, 1983 at 8:00 p.m., at the Concert Hall, 855 Commonwealth Avenue. Works performed were Symphonies of Wind Instruments by Igor Stravinsky, Piano Concerto No. 3 in C major, Op. 26 by Sergei Prokofiev, and Symphony No. 5 in D minor, Op. 47 by Dmitri Shostakovich.
