Description
This is the concert program of the Boston University Women's, Chamber and Concert Choirs and Boston University Chamber Orchestra performance on Saturday , March 19, 2005 at 8:00 p.m., at the Concert Hall, 855 Commonwealth Avenue. Works performed were Rondino in E flat major, WoO 25 by Ludwig van Beethoven, "Puis qu'en oubli" by Guillaume de Machaut, "echo la primavera" by Francesco Landini, "Trois beaux oiseaux de Paradis" from "Trois Chansons" by Maurice Ravel, "Matona mia cara" by Orlandus Lassus, "Just as the tide was flowing" arranged by Ralph Vaughan Williams, "Quick! we have but a second" arranged by Charles Viller Stanford, "Kleine Geistlische Konzerte," Excerpts by Heinrich Schütz, "Messe Basse" by Gabriel Fauré, "Weg der Liebe," Op. 20 by Johannes Brahms, and "Missa Brevis in G major," K. 49 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
