Description
This is the concert program of the An Evening of Trombone Quartets performance on Tuesday, May 10, 1994 at 8:00 p.m., at Marsh Chapel, 735 Commonwealth Avenue. Works performed were "Achieved is the Glorious Work," from "The Creation" by Franz Joseph Haydn, "Ave Maria," from "Otello" (arr. Scott Hartman) by Giuseppe Verdi, Fugue in D minor (arr. Richard Myers) by Johann Sebastian Bach, "Chorale," from "Prince Igor" (arr. A. Yawkelevich) by Alexander Borodin, Christus factus est (arr. Elwood Williams) by Anton Bruckner, Suita per 4 Tromboni by Kazimierz Serocki, Morgenmusik (arr. Leon Ni) by Paul Hindemith, Trombarron by Richard Cornell, Sarabande from Pour le Piano (arr. Ronald Barron) by Claude Debussy, and The Girl with the Flaxen Hair (arr. Ronald Barron) by C. Debussy.
