He copied the manuscript and added the glosses in Mandinka Ajami in order to help his students and local readers understand the content of the Arabic poem.The manuscript is a bilingual Arabic-Mandinka Ajami text that the manuscript owner calls Jajaay Ndiŋo. It is an Arabic poem copied from the original written by Ibn Abī Zayd al-Qayrawānī. It has extensive glosses in Mandinka Ajami to help local readers understand the content in their own language. It deals with the importance of knowledge.Unbound manuscript. 10 pages. Due to water and ink stains, some words in the oldest pages may be difficult to read.
