Growing up I had a strong sense of where I will be working and serving – Ghana, West Africa – and by a combination of factors, most of my life and my work has been outside Ghana, serving as a bridge-builder between the Global North and Global South, between academy and church, between mainline Protestants and evangelicals and now in a real sense on an even larger ecclesiastical map.
