While Latinx people account for 18.4% of the U.S. population, they make up 23.1% of total COVID-19 cases and almost 38% of all COVID-19-related-deaths in the U.S. Latinx people face systemic socioeconomic and political challenges that adversely impact their risk of exposure to and recovery from COVID-19.
