Abstract
This investigation was undertaken in an effort to determine the possible application of Non-Silver Halide Photosensitive Processes to the field of aerial photography. The thesis is an analysis of the literature to determine if any of the processes is or shows promise of meeting these requirements: simple, dry and rapid, having wide temperature and nuclear radiation tolerances, and at the same time having suitable photographic response.
Since this field is even wider than first expected, only materials that have caught the interest of commercial organizations have been reviewed. A complete list (grouped according to process) of all references is given in the bibliography. [TRUNCATED]
