It is the purpose of this thesis to present certain materials which may be used by physical education personnel as a guide in establishing instructional standards in evaluating the physical fitness of the students participating in the class instructional program at Boston University. The information which is obtained may be used to place better the individual or group in the educational situation, to arrange better the materials of instruction, and to guide better the individual in relation to his capacities and skills.
