Description
This is the concert program of the Faculty recital series: A Program of African-American Spirituals, Simon Estes, bass-baritone, Donald Ryan, piano performance on Tuesday, March 15, 2005 at 8:00 p.m., at the Tsai Performance Center, 685 Commonwealth Avenue. The works performed were the following African-American Spirituals arranged by Donald Ryan: Deep River, Heaven Heaven, City called Heaven, Steal Away, Every time I feel the spirit, Wade in the Water, He's got the whole world in his hand, Little David play in your heart, Weeping Mary, Joshua fought the Battle of Jericho, Sometimes I feel like a motherless child, and Go down Moses.
