    Abstract
"I just had this funny thought about John the Baptist, the preacher of fire and brimstone, and how his message might have been different if he were Episcopalian instead (it's a joke, OK? I know John wasn't really Baptist). In the end, repentence is hot, hard, sweaty labor. Maybe John knew that, and maybe that's why he took the approach he did instead of a kinder, gentler (more Episcopalian?) approach."
