Description
This is the concert program of the Boston University Women's Choral and Repertory Chorus performance on Tuesday, November 3, 1998 at 8:00 p.m., at the Boston University Concert Hall, 855 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston, Massachusetts. Works performed were Missa Brevis in D major by Benjamin Britten; Wir eilen mit schwachen, doch emsigen Schritten from Cantata No. 78, "Jesu, der du meine See;e", Suscepit Israel, from Magnificat in D major, BWV 243, and Herr, du siehst statt guter Werke from Cantata No. 9, "Est ist das Heil uns kommen her" by Johann Sebastian Bach; Eucaristica and Nigra Sum by Pablo Casals; Magnificat by Antonio Vivaldi; L'Invitation au voyage by John Corigliano; Missa Brevis in F-flat, K. 275 (272b) by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart; and A Jubilant Song by Norman Dello Joio.
