Abstract
The purpose of this work is to offer an overview on “El viaje de Darwin a Sudamérica” (Darwin’s Travels to South America), an advanced Spanish course that combines the natural and social sciences and explores Darwin’s journey on board the Beagle from 1832 to 1836. By establishing a dialogue between Darwin’s observations and diverse texts from anthropologists, historians, biologists, and activists from South America, the course aims to amplify the voices and experiences of the colonized civilizations he encountered on his journey. Furthermore, this study aims to generate a space for dialogue and questioning by promoting multicultural education committed with the reality around us.
