Description
This is the concert program of the Romantic Violins performance on Wedneday, February 25, 2004 at 8:00 p.m., at the Tsai Performance Center, 685 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston, Massachusetts. Works performed were Duo No. I in G Major, K. 423 for violin and viola by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart; Sonata in G Major for violin and piano, Op. 78 by Johannes Brahms; Havanaise, Op. 83 by Camille Saint-Saëns; Nigun by Ernest Bloch; Poéme, Op. 25 by Ernest Chausson; Sonata in D minor 'Ballade', Op. 27 No. 3 by Eugène Ysaye; and Navarra, Op. 33 by Pablo de Sarasate.
