Abstract
A collection of ninety-five endodontic failures was evaluated with emphasis on the status of the three-dimensional endodontic seal. The investigative methods included data derived from clinical, microscopic, radiographic, photomacrographic and transparent post-Pelikan ink infusion information. While a number of statistical inferences were derived from the results of this investigation, the clinically significant observations were that every failure demonstrated at least one underfilled portal of exit and that no overfill failures were recorded.
