Description
This is the concert program of the Concert of String Department Students on Thursday, October 22, 1987 at 8:00 p.m., at the Concert Hall, 855 Commonwealth Avenue. Works performed were Allegro from Sonata in A for Cello and Piano by Luigi Boccherini, Allegro ma non troppo from Concerto No. 3, Op. 61, for Violin and Piano by Camille Saint-Saëns, Sonata No. 1, Op. 25, for viola solo by Paul Hindemith, Allegro from Sonata for Viola and Piano in F minor, Op. 120, No. 1 by Johannes Brahms, Allegretto ben moderato and Allegro from Sonata for Violin and Piano in A major by César Franck, and "Schlomo" for cello and piano by Ernest Bloch.
