Description
This is the concert program of the >String Department Student Concert on Wednesday, November 4, 1992 at 8:00 p.m., at the Concert Hall, 855 Commonwealth Avenue. Works performed were Suite No. 2 by Johann Sebastian Bach, Allegro non troppo from Symphonie Espagnole, Op. 21 by Édouard Lalo, Preludio from Partita No. 3 in E major by J. S. Bach, Allegro moderato from Sonata for Cello and Piano, "Arpeggione" by Franz Schubert, L'estate (Quattro Stagioni) by Antonio Vivaldi, Andante and Adagio religioso from Violin Concerto No. 4, Op. 31 by Henry Vieuxtemps, Lento assai and Dance rustique from Sonata No. 5 for Solo Violin, Op. 27, "L'aurore" by Eugène Ysayë, Adagio and Allegro from Sonata in A major for Cello and Piano by Luigi Boccherini, Nicht schnell and Lebhaft from Fairy Tales by Robert Schumann, and Adagio sostenuto-Presto from Sonata No. 9 in A major for Violin and Piano, Op. 47, "Kreutzer" by Ludwig van Beethoven.
