Description
This is the concert program of the Baroque Chamber Music performance on Friday, December 5, 1997 at 8:00 p.m., at the Marshall Room, 855 Commonwealth Avenue. Works performed were Cantata "L'enlèvenment d'Orithie" for Baritone, Violin, and Basso Continuo by M. P. de Montéclair, Sonata for Viola da Gamba and Harpsichord in D major, BWV 1028 by Johann Sebastian Bach, Sonata for Flute, Viola, and Harpsichord in A minor, W. 93 by Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, Sonata for Flute and Violin in E minor, Op. 51, No. 2 by Joseph Bodin de Boismortier, and Zwei Deutsche Arien by George Frideric Handel.
