Description
This is the concert program of the Boston University Symphony Orchestra performance on Thursday, April 30, 1998 at 8:00 p.m., at the Tsai Performance Center, 685 Commonwealth Avenue. Works performed were Allegro Maestoso from Flute Concerto in G major, K. 313 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, "Bature, the gentlest mother," "Heart, we will for him," "Dear March, come in!," and "Going to Heave!" from "Twelve Poems of Emily Dickinson" by Aaron Copland, Andantino from Piano Concerto No. 2 in G minor, Op. 16 by Sergei Prokofiev, Jouissance from Renaissanc Concerto for Flute and Orchestra by Lukas Foss, Mirage by Tetyana Ryabchikova, and Roman Carnival Overture by Hector Berlioz.
