Description
This is the concert program of the Faculty recital series: Quartets, Duets and Sonatas, Edwin Barker and Friends performance on Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at 8:00 p.m., at the Tsai Performance Center, 685 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston, Massachusetts. Works performed were Passacaglia for Violin and Double Bass by Handel-Halvorsen, Sonata in G for Double Bass and Piano, D 384 - op. post. 137, 1 by Franz Schubert, Quartet for double basses by Gunther Schuller, Duo for Violin and Violoncello by Zoltán Kodály, and Sonata in C major for 2 Violins, Cello, and Double Bass by Gioacchino Rossini. Digitization for Boston University Concert Programs was supported by the Boston University Center for the Humanities Library Endowed Fund.
