Abstract
[The African Indigenous Churches of Nigeria, otherwise known as Aladura churches, represent a prominent segment of Christianity in Africa. Nigeria is one of the regions with the greatest diversity of Christian churches in Africa and in the African diaspora. In their early days, the Aladura, like other African Indigenous Churches, suffered from insults, privations, condemnation, and blatant discrimination. At present, they have become a considerable force within Nigeria’s Christian landscape.]
