Abstract
BACKGROUND: Hybrid care combines traditional face-to-face appointments with digital interventions with an aim to increase access and reach more individuals. AIMS: This study and its analysis aims to elucidate the clinical outcomes of patients with depression and anxiety in a hybrid care clinic. By providing the framework of a hybrid care clinic and the transparency of qualifications needed in digital support roles, this paper aims to highlight the benefits of a hybrid care model for patients with depression and anxiety. METHODS: A total of 267 were enrolled in the study, given weekly therapy, provided a smartphone app, and personalized digital technology support. RESULTS: After comparing the differences between progressing timepoint measurements, analysis revealed significant reduction in symptoms of depression and anxiety. CONCLUSIONS: This hybrid care clinic has demonstrated a reduction of symptoms in depression and anxiety. Furthermore, this study demonstrates the implementation of homogenizing digital interventions in traditional care to serve as a basis for future research to expand upon.
