Description
This is the concert program of the Concert of String Department Students on Tuesday, November 23, 1986 at 8:00 p.m., at the Concert Hall, 855 Commonwealth Avenue. Works performed were Sonata in F, No. 5, for Violin and Piano by George Frideric Handel, Preludium in D minor for Unaccompanied Cello by Johann Sebastian Bach, Six Roumanian Dances for Violin and Piano by Béla Bartók, Sonata in F minor, No. 1, Op. 120 for Viola and Piano by Johannes Brahms, first movement from Concerto in D, No. 4, for Violin and Piano by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Grave in A minor for Violin Solo by J. S. Bach, Sonata for Unaccompanied Cello by Zoltán Kodály, first movement from Concerto for Viola and Piano by B. Bartók, and Concerto NO. 5 in A minor, Op. 37 for Violin and Piano by Henri Vieuxtemps.
