Description
This is the concert program of the The Boston University All-Campus Orchestra and The Boston University Concert Band performance on Thursday, December 2, 1999 at 8:00 p.m., at the Concert Hall, 855 Commonwealth Avenue. Works performed were "La Grazza Ladra" Overture (Thieving Magpie) by Gioachino Rossini, Bohemian-Danish Folk Song by Carl Nielsen, Slavonic Dances (Op. 46), Dance No. 6 and Dance No. 8 by Antonin Dvorak, A Salute to the Big Bands arranged by Calvin Custer, Chant and Jubilo by W. Francis McBeth, Music from the "Star Wars" Trilogy by John Williams, and An American in Paris by George Gershwin.
