Description
This is the concert program of the Boston University Collegiate Jazz Festival performance on Saturday, February 25, 1989, at the Concert Hall, 855 Commonwealth Avenue. The Boston University Collegiate Jazz Festival featured clinics and performances by B.C. Bop!, Prism Jazz Ensemble, Harvard Jazz Band, Boston University Jazz Lab Band, Amherst College Jazz Ensemble, Boston University Jazz Band, Tufts University Jazz Band, M.I.T. Festival Jazz Ensemble, Westfield State College Jazz Ensemble, and University of Massachusetts Amherst Jazz Ensemble I. The evening concert included the Boston University Jazz Lab Band performing Groovin Hard by Don Menza, Oh Lord by Mike Barone, Cleopatra by Ken Schaphorst, Wetzel's Weasels by Tom Garvin, God Bless the Child arranged by Tommy Newsom, and Shawnee (Cherokee) by M.
