Description
This is the concert program of the Boston University Choruses performance on Tuesday, October 25, 1994 at 8:00 p.m., at the Tsai Performance Center, 685 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston, Massachusetts. Works performed were Nigra Sum by Pablo Casals, Ave Maria by Zoltán Kodály, "Lift thine eyes," from Elijah by Felix Mendelssohn, "Suscepit Israel" from Magnificat by Johann Sebastian Bach, "There is no Rose", from Ceremony of Carols by Benjamin Britten, Liebeslieder and Neue Liebeslieder Walzer by Johannes Brahms, Sure On This Shining Night, Op. 13 No. 3 by Samuel Barber, A Jubilant Song by Norman Dello Joio, Part Songs by Franz Joseph Haydn, and Zigeunderlieder (Gypsy Songs) Op. 103 by Johannes Brahms.
