Description
This is the concert program of the Boston University Jazz Lab Band performance on Monday, October 20, 1986 at 8:00 p.m., at the Concert Hall, 855 Commonwealth Avenue. Works performed were Strike up the Band by George and Ira Gershwin, arranged by Sammy Nestico, Witch's Dance by DOug Beach and George Shutack, I Gotta Right To Sing the Blues by Harold Arlen, arranged by S. Nestico, Yardbird Suite by Charlie Parker, arranged by Dick Lieb, Maiden Voyage by Herbie Hancock, arranged by Mark Taylor, Residual Fire Dance by Les Hooper, Kids are Pretty People by Thad Jones, and Basie Straight Ahead by S.
