Abstract
The last two or three decades have seen the spectrograph rise from being merely a precision instrument to one of the most valuable tools in the analytical field. In conclusion the writer emphasizes the advances made in applying the spectrograph to analytical problems. He forsees a continued and fruitful application of this method to industrial analytical work.
