Description
This is the concert program of the Recital: Ensemble for Pianists on Monday, December 7, 2015 at 6:30 p.m., at the Concert Hall, 855 Commonwealth Avenue. Works performed were Sonata for 2 pianos - 8 hands in E minor, JB 1:47 by Bedrich Smetana, Valse-Musette from L'embarquement pour Cythère by Francis Poulenc, Fascination by Fermo Dante Marchetti, Marzietta, no 1 from "Puppets," Opus 27 by Alfredo Casella, Jazz Study by Edward Burlingame Hill, III. Scherzando from In black and white by Claude Debussy, Capriccio in C major by F. Poulenc, "The night... The love" in D major, No 2 from Suite No 1, Opus 5 by Sergei Rachmaninoff, Concertino in A minor, Opus 94 by Dmitri Shostakovich, II. Allegro molto from Sonata for two pianos by F. Poulenc, Fantasy in D minor, Opus 11 by Max Bruch, Tarantella in C minor, no 4 from Suite No 2, Opus 17 by S. Rachmaninoff, and The Serpent's Kiss (from "The Garden of Eden") by William Bolcom.
